Shrubs and large rocks dot the rising ground, so every step must be carefully placed to avoid an accident. Perhaps a hundred meters out, the terrain starts to get hilly and difficult. Beyond such distant, moonlit silhouettes, however, it is impossible to see past the edge of your torchlight. A cold, dry wind blows down from the foothills of the Brazen Peaks, which can barely be made out on the horizon. The sun has set by now, leaving the land in pitch darkness. Gravel and rocks crunch beneath your feet in the darkness, and soon you have left the firelight of Almah's camp behind entirely. So prepared, you make your way out from the encampment, into the valley beyond. You ready yourselves for the night hunt, Azzam stringing his bow, Zaed offering torches.
